Soccer Recap: East Lincoln's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After flying high against Foard on Tuesday, East Lincoln came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of the Hickory Red Tornadoes by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The defeat snapped East Lincoln's winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 11-4 record. As for Hickory, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-3 record this season.
