The Brookings Bobcats were the 70-63 winner over the Spearfish Spartans when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Brookings fell just short of Spearfish by a score of 57-54.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spearfish to victory, but perhaps none more so than Seth Hamilton, who scored 20 points. Hamilton hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Kade Vavruska was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.

Brookings' loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Spearfish, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
