Softball Recap: Bay City Western Takes a Loss

Bay City Western made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Midland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors fell just short of the Chemics by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hailie Fallstick made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season.

Bay City Western's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Midland, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6.

Coming up, Bay City Western is taking a road trip to face off against Lapeer East at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Midland, they will host Davison at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
