Barrett Kamman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).

Even though Kamman couldn't lead Oxford over Lafayette, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kamman has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 1 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Lafayette has only allowed 4.2 per game this season.
