Volleyball Recap: Maud Wins Going Away Against Big Sandy

Maud's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Big Sandy Wildcats. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Maud was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-8.

Maud has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Big Sandy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Maud will square off against Trinity Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Big Sandy, they will take on East Texas Homeschool Sports at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
