Softball Recap: Lodi Wins Going Away Against Kimball

The Lodi Flames got the win against the Kimball Jaguars on Wednesday by a conclusive 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Flames, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Tealla Rivera was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Ellie Schallberger also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Lodi always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lodi pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Kimball, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.
