Basketball Recap: Seaholm Takes a Loss

Seaholm was the 44-28 winner over Harper Woods when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Seaholm Maples fell to the Harper Woods Pioneers 54-50. The Maples' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Seaholm's record is now 1-9. As for Harper Woods, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-7.

Seaholm and Harper Woods could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Seaholm (ranked 485th) will meet Avondale (ranked 130th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harper Woods will square off against Lake Orion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 290 places (484 vs. 194).
