Baseball Recap: Conwell-Egan Catholic Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Conwell-Egan Catholic and Archbishop Carroll, and Archbishop Carroll kept the tradition alive. The Eagles fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Chase Forester was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
