Baseball Recap: Dunedin Comes Up Short

Dunedin was the 4-1 winner over Largo when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Packers by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday.

Dunedin saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Griffin Ross, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Kike Venegas, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Dunedin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Largo, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Dunedin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Northeast on the 12th. As for Largo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-5 loss against Port Charlotte on the 12th.
