After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Joliet Catholic, Lincoln-Way East was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the St. Rita Mustangs with a sharp 12-1 victory. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Griffins this season.

Lincoln-Way East's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-10. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for St. Rita, their loss dropped their record down to 15-20.

Lincoln-Way East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Rita, they will host Agricultural Science at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
