Elk Grove hadn't beaten Buffalo Grove on the road since September 25, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Grenadiers secured a 10-4 W over the Bison. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grenadiers.

Elk Grove's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Prospect, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Prospect against Elk Grove in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-12 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Grenadiers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
