Hubbertville won the last time they faced Lynn and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions blew past the Bears 78-38. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 34 points or more this season.

Hubbertville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Pendley, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Pendley now owns an excellent 42.9% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Kane Rushing, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 12 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

That was a full 42.1% of the Bears' points, marking the third time in a row Sherer has had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tanner Torres, who put up eight points.

Hubbertville pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points over those games. As for Lynn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Hubbertville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-54 win against Berry on the 12th. As for Lynn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-48 loss against Addison on the 15th.
