Basketball Recap: Scotland Christian Academy Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Scotland Christian Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 73-65 win over the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-61 back in December of 2024.

Scotland Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Frankie McIntyre, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 11 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which McIntyre has scored at least a third of Scotland Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Jeffrey St Onge, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine assists.

Scotland Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-23.

Looking ahead, Scotland Christian Academy will take on Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilson Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
