Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Canevin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Serra Catholic Eagles 54-14. With the Crusaders ahead 47-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Bishop Canevin pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points over those games. As for Serra Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bishop Canevin is set to face off against their familiar foe Fort Cherry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Crusaders 12.8, the Rangers 9) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Serra Catholic will take on rival Chartiers-Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
