Football Recap: Shenandoah Valley Takes a Loss

Shenandoah Valley lost against Tri-Valley back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils had to suffer through a 53-8 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-0.

Leading Tri-Valley to victory were Trey Porter and Cole Gemberling. Porter rushed for 61 yards and one touchdown, while Gemberling rushed for 45 yards and a pair of TDs. Another big playmaker for the Bulldogs was Doyle Flory, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Shenandoah Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Shenandoah Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 35-8 defeat against Panther Valley on the 10th. As for Tri-Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 42-7 victory against Mahanoy Area on the 10th.
