Basketball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 60-23 loss at the hands of the Harrisburg Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 570th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 113th).

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Harrisburg, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Eldorado will welcome Flora at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Harrisburg, they will square off against Carmi-White County at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
