Recap: McClintock Chargers vs. Tempe Buffaloes
The McClintock Chargers waltzed into Wednesday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They really took it to Tempe for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-36 win at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-14.
Leading McClintock to victory were Kyler Frye and Josh McManaway . Frye scored 22 points, while McManaway scored 16 points along with 5 steals. The match was Frye's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Walsh, who scored 3 points along with 7 assists and 4 steals.
Despite the loss, Tempe still got an impressive performance from Nassir Cobbs , who scored 9 points. Jeremiah Thurman was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
McClintock now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Tempe, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
