After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Linn-Mar, Iowa City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Dunkerton Raiders get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering Iowa City have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Iowa City pushed their record up to 14-6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Dunkerton, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Iowa City wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Waterloo West on the 9th. As for Dunkerton, they will head out to square off against Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
