Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Indian Hills

Indian Hills had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hudson Catholic Hawks by a score of 8-5.

Ryan Albora tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ben Piotrowski, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted over his last nine games. Another player making a difference was Nico Speciale, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Indian Hills pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hudson Catholic, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
