Soccer Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highland Hornets. Valley were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Highland earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Highland, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Coming up, Valley will welcome Belen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland, they will venture away from home to square off against Cibola at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
