Minford had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 60-51 victory over the Zane Trace Pioneers on Friday. The Falcons are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

Zane Trace's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gunnar McCullough, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave McCullough a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (50%). Grady Stewart was another key player, putting up 13 points and five rebounds.

Minford pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Zane Trace, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5.
