Baseball Game Recap: Charlotte Latin Hawks vs. Providence Day Chargers

Charlotte Latin extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 18-6-1 in the process. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-9 to the Providence Day Chargers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-9 loss on Friday.

As for Providence Day, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-11. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games.

For Providence Day's part, the team relied heavily on Rush Adams, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Adams has become a key player for the Chargers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 10-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Charlie Kropf, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

As of now, neither Charlotte Latin nor Providence Day have any future games scheduled.
