Recap: Hall Titans vs. Manchester Red Hawks
The Hall Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Manchester on the road and fell 71-44. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hall in their matchups with Manchester: they've now lost three in a row.
Tiara Tyson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Manchester, scoring 29 points along with five rebounds. The match was Tyson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Aaliyah Lawrence was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Hall bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.1 points per game. As for Manchester, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hall will take on Northwest Catholic at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hall in Connecticut (Northwest Catholic is ranked 19th, while Hall is ranked 119th). As for Manchester, they will play host again and welcome East Catholic, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
