Bruton is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Northampton. Bruton simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Northampton 36-0 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Ashton Bell and his top target Peter Henderson. Bell threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes while Henderson rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. 139 of those passing yards were hauled in by Anthony Henderson Jr..
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Nandua's offense. They were outmatched by Rappahannock on the road and fell 77-0.
