Jayce Smoot Game Report: @ West Columbus

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Jayce Smoot: he recorded his first sack on Thursday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up three sacks and made three total tackles, helping propel Lakewood past West Columbus by a score of 35-20. We hope Smoot's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Smoot and Lakewood will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Union at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
