Basketball Game Preview: Hot Springs Trojans vs. Lake Hamilton Wolves

Hot Springs is 1-9 against Lake Hamilton since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hot Springs Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Lake Hamilton Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Hot Springs is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Lakeside, falling 60-19. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Rams are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Lake Hamilton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 54-48 to Sheridan.

Lake Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Hot Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-19.

Hot Springs might still be hurting after the 51-25 loss they got from Lake Hamilton in their previous matchup back in January. Can Hot Springs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
