Softball Recap: Reynoldsburg Takes a Loss

Reynoldsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 31st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Centerburg Trojans.

Reynoldsburg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Monica Wesley, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Reynoldsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Centerburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.

Coming up, Reynoldsburg will look to defend their home field on Monday against Canal Winchester at 5:15 p.m. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Centerburg, they will square off against Granville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
