Basketball Recap: Purdy Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Purdy Eagles came up short against the Sheldon Panthers and fell 41-31.

Purdy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sheldon, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purdy will take on Verona in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sheldon, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Weaubleau at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheldon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
