Redmond extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They took a blow against the Renton Red Hawks, falling 70-21. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-21.

As for Renton, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 34 points or more this season.

Renton was led to victory by Wisdom Bryon and Patrick Turner. Bryon gained 337 total yards and three touchdowns, while Turner gained 214 total yards and five touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 72 yards.

Redmond has already played their next contest, a 49-14 loss against Hazen on the 10th. As for Renton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 51-25 defeat against Mercer Island on the 10th.
