Maclay has gone 3-0 against Franklin County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Maclay Marauders will take on the Franklin County Seahawks at 5:00 p.m. Maclay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.6 goals per game this season.

Maclay is headed into Monday's following a draw, the team's first since November 21. They and River Ridge finished up their game with a 1-1 draw last Saturday. The outcome might've been different if Luke Daunt hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Maclay's goal came courtesy of Zac Scovotto, who's now up to 23 this season.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Franklin County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Port St. Joe on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Seahawks who have now won three matches in a row.

With that draw, Maclay's record moves to 14-1-2. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9-5.

Everything went Maclay's way against Franklin County when the teams last played back in December of 2015, as Maclay made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Maclay since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
