Softball Recap: Therrell Makes It Six in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lovett, Therrell was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over the Pebblebrook Falcons. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 14 runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Janethia Kendall, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of MARIAH WOOLRIDGE, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Therrell's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 19.3 runs this season. As for Pebblebrook, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Therrell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-2 victory against Forest Park on the 10th. As for Pebblebrook, they will head out on the road to take on New Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguar have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.55 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
