Softball Recap: Baylor Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Silverdale Academy

Baylor faced Silverdale Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Seahawks by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Red Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Baylor's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Silverdale Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-4-1 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Baylor will welcome South Pittsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Silverdale Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Gibbs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
