Brooks Seago was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Dillon Johnson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, Tupelo Christian Prep didn't have quite enough to beat Independence on Wednesday and fell 7-6.

Jax Coker put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Coker was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

In other batting news, Brooks Bresee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
