Basketball Game Preview: Tracy Bulldogs vs. Lincoln Trojans

Tracy is 0-10 against Lincoln since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Tracy Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lincoln Trojans at 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Tracy came up short against Lodi and fell 58-50.

Meanwhile, Lincoln waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Wolfpack 62-44. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Wolfpack are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tracy better keep an eye on Donez Lindsey. He was instrumental in Lincoln's win, going 7 for 10 on his way to 18 points. Jagger Merolla was another key player, going 6 of 12 en route to 12 points.

Lincoln smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive matchups.

Tracy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

Tracy was dealt a bruising 74-32 loss at the hands of Lincoln in their previous matchup on January 3rd. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Tracy was down 35-13.
