Sylva Bay Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Franklin Academy Cougars get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Tuesday. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Sylva Bay Academy got a massive performance out of Ainsley Walley, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Walley has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Webb, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Sylva Bay Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin Academy only posted an OBP of .211.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Sylva Bay Academy, bringing their record up to 15-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Franklin Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Sylva Bay Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Franklin Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
