Volleyball Recap: Arthur County Wolves vs. South Platte Blue Knights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sioux County, Arthur County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the South Platte Blue Knights 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Arthur County got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 23-25, 25-18.

Arthur County's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-15. As for South Platte, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hyannis the next time they take the court. South Platte will head out to face Hyannis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Arthur County will play them later in the day, at TBD.
