Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside's tournament run continued when they took on Tocoi Creek on Saturday. The Riverside Generals received a blow as they fell 58-39 to the Tocoi Creek Toros. The match marked the Generals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Riverside has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Tocoi Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Riverside will take on San Jose Prep in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside is facing San Jose Prep at the right time seeing as San Jose Prep is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Tocoi Creek and Beachside will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
