Basketball Recap: Wayne Preparatory Academy Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Wayne Preparatory Academy won the last time they faced Riverside Christian Academy, and Gaven Proctor did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals came out on top against the Riverside Christian Academy Royals by a score of 55-46 on Monday thanks in part to Proctor, who went 8 for 18 en route to 23 points along with five boards and three steals. The contest was his 12th in a row with at least ten points.

Jabrion Armstrong was another key player, putting up two points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Wayne Preparatory Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Riverside Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
