Basketball Recap: Gibbs Gladiators vs. St. Petersburg Green Devils

After flying high against Boca Ciega last Monday, Gibbs came back down to earth. The Gibbs Gladiators fell 53-42 to the St. Petersburg Green Devils on Wednesday. The Gladiators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Gibbs' loss came despite strong showings from Nyla Brinson and Janaiya Miller. Brinson went 7 for 11 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds, while Miller posted eight points and nine boards.
