Baseball Recap: Omaha South Comes Up Short

Omaha South was the 7-5 winner over Bellevue East when they last played one another on April 5th, but their luck changed this time around. The Packers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chieftains on Monday.

Lou Hodoly made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Omaha South has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Bellevue East, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10.

Omaha South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Omaha Northwest on the 23rd. As for Bellevue East, they have also already played their next match, a 13-1 victory against Bryan on the 22nd.
