Soccer Game Preview: Clearfield vs. Box Elder

The Clearfield Falcons will face off against the Box Elder Bees at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Clearfield has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Box Elder will arrive with three straight wins.

On Thursday, Clearfield didn't have quite enough to beat Northridge and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Clearfield have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Box Elder's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat Roy by a goal, winning 2-1.

Usiel Mejia and Zack Rountree scored both of Box Elder's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Box Elder now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Clearfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
