Basketball Recap: South Eugene Comes Up Short

South Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 57-31 to the Roseburg Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-33 back in December of 2025.

South Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Roseburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Coincidentally, South Eugene and Roseburg will both be playing Grants Pass the next time they take the court. The Indians will host the Cavemen at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Axe will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
