Volleyball Recap: Coahoma Victorious

Coahoma posted their closest win since August 31, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Ballinger Bearcats 2-1.

Bree Lewis was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 13 kills and six digs. Madi Renteria was another key player, getting nine kills, four digs, and two blocks.

Coahoma is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. As for Ballinger, they moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coahoma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Merkel on the 23rd. As for Ballinger, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sonora on the 26th.
