Softball Game Preview: Cardinal O'Hara Lions vs. Ridley Raiders

The Cardinal O'Hara Lions will take on the Ridley Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Cardinal O'Hara's win against Interboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Cardinal O'Hara won by a run and slipped past Interboro 4-3.

Meanwhile, while Ridley put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Lower Merion. Ridley was the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over Lower Merion. That looming 14-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this season.

Ridley pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cardinal O'Hara, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
