Volleyball Recap: Liberty Union Takes a Loss

Liberty Union was the 3-0 winner over Amanda-Clearcreek when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aces on Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-14, 14-25, 25-7, 25-12.

Liberty Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Union will host Bloom-Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, they will be playing at home against Cristo Rey at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
