Volleyball Game Preview: Wayland-Cohocton Eagles vs. Avon Braves

Wayland-Cohocton hasn't had much luck against Avon recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Eagles will host the Braves at 6:00 p.m. Wayland-Cohocton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Wayland-Cohocton barely beat Livonia the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday.

Meanwhile, Avon came up short against Bloomfield on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Bombers: they've now lost four in a row.

Avon's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Wayland-Cohocton, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
