Basketball Game Preview: Caledonia Cavaliers vs. West Lowndes Panthers

Caledonia and West Lowndes are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2018, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Caledonia's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.

On Thursday, Caledonia was able to grind out a solid win over Hamilton, taking the game 62-51.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Lowndes). They put the hurt on Ethel with a sharp 69-44 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since January 29th.

Caledonia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for West Lowndes, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6.
