Volleyball Recap: Lake Ridge Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Lake Ridge challenged Joshua on Friday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Owls. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Leading Joshua to victory were Madilyn Lacey and Ruby Vincent. Lacey had 13 digs, while Vincent had six digs.

Lake Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Joshua, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Lake Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Richland on the 15th. As for Joshua, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Colleyville Heritage on the 15th.
