Recap: Santa Fe Raiders vs. Palatka Panthers
The Santa Fe Raiders lost against the Palatka Panthers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Santa Fe was beaten by Palatka 65-28. Santa Fe has struggled against Palatka recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Santa Fe lost, one person who can't be blamed is Natalie Chohan. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. Grace Boswell-Sczepanski was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Palatka, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.
Santa Fe will head out on the road to face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Palatka, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
