Basketball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 70-47 to the Loomis Wolves.

North Central's record is now 2-5. As for Loomis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

North Central won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against O'Neill at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Central is facing O'Neill at the right time seeing as O'Neill is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Loomis, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Elm Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Loomis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Elm Creek likes a good challenge.
